About

Rachel Miebach, MA, CCC-SLP

Owner, Speech-Language Pathologist

My name is Rachel (she/her) and I am a certified and licensed speech-language pathologist. I have 8 years of experience working as a pediatric SLP as well as several years of experience working with children as a teacher’s aide, assistant teacher, and student clinician. In 2014, I received a bachelor’s degree in speech-language pathology from Elmhurst College. In 2016, I received a master’s degree in speech-language pathology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I have worked in school and outpatient settings. I have experience working with children of all ages with a variety of strengths, needs, and diagnoses. My areas of interest in the field include: speech sound disorders (including articulation, phonology, and childhood apraxia of speech or CAS/suspected CAS), expressive language delays or “late talking” (generally ages 0-3), and language development (analytic and gestalt). I strive to make therapy fun while also being efficient at helping clients meet goals. I try to be as inclusive as possible and am always learning and open to new ideas.
